"Entre la pierre et le fer Entre le palmier et le laurier C’est entre ces deux pays que je me suis inspirée"
Having grown up between two cultures, France and Egypt, interior designer Sarah Aly drew influence from the mystery and details in her projects, working under the name "Ptah."
During her childhood, Sarah was deeply impacted by these cultural, architectural, and lifestyle differences, which profoundly influenced her imagination and stimulated her creativity, giving her artistic identity a distinct path.
After completing her interior architecture studies in Paris in 2011, Sarah decided to return to her home country to create her MasterPiece project, a project inspired by both countries.
Imagine a world where everyone is the same? How boring!
Over the years, Sarah observed and realized that differences between individuals extend beyond national borders and can even exist within a single country or household. Each person has their own daily life and habits, making them unique.
Ptah was founded with the purpose of reimagining the Franco-Egyptian style and designing apartments that are tailored to each person's personality, taking into account their daily lives and values.
It is the differences among people, cultures, and daily routines that give the world its charm.
In 2019, Sarah embarked on creating custom furniture to personalize interiors. Her first piece, a rocking horse named "Baby inpou," was dedicated as a tribute to her dog Anubis, who unfortunately passed away before reaching the age of one.
