Quarateen in

Furniture
Locked with cardboard in quarantine, I created "Quarateen"! An artisanal project inspired by ancient Egyptian culture, where the "Apopis" chair is a reinterpretation of Frank Gehry's famous "Wiggle" chair, and this project is entirely made from recycled cardboard, tin cans, glass bottles, and jars.

What makes "Quarateen" exceptional is that every element of this project is crafted from recycled materials. From unused cardboard to abandoned tin cans, neglected glass bottles to jars seeking a new purpose, we've transformed these objects into a one-of-a-kind creation. Our aim is to demonstrate that creativity can be a pathway to sustainability.

Candlelit Bottles Illuminate

To create a unique nighttime ambiance, we adorned these bottles with motifs inspired by ancient Egypt. These bottles were originally intended for food use, but now they have been transformed into artistic pieces that illuminate our evenings.

"We repurposed the jars thanks to their transparency, turning them into lighting fixtures."

"Creativity can still flourish even when one is confined."
